Mike has lived in his simple low budget diy cargo van camper conversion since February and through a Canadian winter in Ontario. I talk to him about the challenges he faced and the benefits he finds in Vanlife as he tours me through his van build. he used furniture from the apartment he left and a few simple DIY tricks to make the space liveable. for the first while of his van dwelling he had no heater, but eventually bought and installed a diesel heater with its own fuel tank and he loves how dry and warm it is and finds it works fantastic even without any insulation in his camper van build.
