2021 SCCA Runoffs, Indy. #89 HP Toyota MR-2
An interesting week...engine cut-outs on Test 1 session, transaxle failure on Test 2 session. CPS failure on Qually 1 session, only to find engine rod bearing failure. So the engine was replaced overnight. Team did an excellent job getting it done only to find an oil leak on the grid for Q2 so didn't go out for that session either. Drive did get in a successful Q3 session (only real time on track) so at least made the race; only to get crashed a few laps into the race. Started 32nd, finished 27th. At least we had a couple good parties and we got to meet up with old friends and some family. So there's that.
