Afghanistan: Human rights concerns over Taliban transition

Reports of targeted killings in parts of Afghanistan are fuelling fears that the 1990s era of repression could return. A new letter has surfaced that threatens a former interpreter with arrest, along with everyone else in his family. The Taliban previously said to the media that a 'general amnesty' would be upheld for people who worked for the previous regime, or countries including the UK and US.
