Final Fantasy VI Fewest Steps Run Boss 29: Poltergeist

This series of videos shows all of the boss battles from a Final Fantasy VI Fewest Steps Run I recently completed. I finished the game with 8,860 steps, without doing any grinding and killing all of the bosses legitimately (no MP-draining kills or Vanish/Spell tricks). I did sacrifice some steps to get items needed for the final battles, but it was necessary for competing the game without grinding levels. Poltergeist is (in my opinion) the easiest of the three statues to defeat. The only thing it can do that will kill you outright is its Stop/Blaster combo, but Stop can be avoid with a high MBlock% setup. It's weak against poison (even though it can't actually be poisoned) so Celes just uses Bio the whole time. Pretty anticlimactic for the second-to-last fight in the game, if you ask me...
