Edvard Grieg – Peer Gynt / Morgenstemning [Norwegian music]

The music piece Morgenstemning ("Morning Mood") was composed by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) for the play Peer Gynt. In the play, it is used when Gynt finds himself stranded in the Moroccan desert. Performed by the Oslo Filharmoniske Orkester (Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra), led by Esa-Pekka Salonen.
