Our first full day at Walt Disney World for our 2019 vacation! We had brunch at Olivia's, the table service restaurant at Old Key West. After a little French press coffee, banana bread French toast, and Mickey waffles, we headed to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Transportation We used the buses 98% of the time and it was really efficient for us. Punctual, quick, and the best late at night. Pre-party As DVC members, we got a small discount on our MVMCP tickets and are granted early access to the park at 2 PM! Definitely a great perk as we were able to take our time and take in the Christmas decor in the day time, watch the Festival of Fantasy parade, try some of the holiday treats, and ride a couple of rides before the party started at 7 PM. MVMCP Our goal was to see as many of the party exclusive shows as possible and we definitely got to see all of the main shows! A Frozen Holiday Wish ( • A Frozen Holiday Wish | Mickey's Very Merr... ) where Elsa lights up the castle, Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration ( • Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration | Micke... ) a song and dance show with Mickey and his pals, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime parade ( • Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade ... ) a staple of the holidays, and new this year, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime fireworks! ( • Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks... ) We also grabbed as many of the "free" treats as we could, cookies, cider, and hot chocolate!
