Asai Karate: 浅井空手:強化運動その弐 バランス、足を降ろさず前蹴りの連蹴り稽古・2024年一月インド講習会 To check your balance ability, one leg stance exercise is the best. Of course, you can do one leg stance without motion for a period of 30 seconds or one minute. For karate training, we have the exercises of continuous kicking without putting the foot on the floor. What I share today is the easiest one, Mae geri 前蹴り. To do this with 2 or 3 kicks is not challenging. However, if you have to do more than 10 kicks, it can be very challenging. Believe me, this exercise is not as easy as you may think. The idea of this exercise is to learn how to keep the one leg balance and not necessarily of Mae geri. Thus, you need to focus on keeping your balance while kicking. Your upper body must be relaxed and your kicks must be smooth. If you can do 10 to 20 kicks without losing your balance, try for 50 or even 100 kicks on each leg. After mastering this with Mae geri, you can proceed to Yoko geri 横蹴り and Mawashi geri 回し蹴り.
