http://www.GopherSports.com Amanda Zahui was named the media's Big Ten Women's Basketball player of the year to headline the list of league award winners for the Golden Gophers announced on March 2nd, becoming the first Gopher to earn that honor since Lindsay Whalen in 2002 and becoming just the fourth Gopher in program history to win the award. Senior, forward, Shae Kelley was also named to the All-Big Ten first team by the media and All-Big Ten second team by the coaches.With rookie Carly Wagner earning a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman team.
