Walk Free: 1 in 130 women living in modern slavery
A shocking new report by Walk Free found one in every 130 women and girls globally are living in some form of modern slavery – including forced exploitation, marriage and labor. The report said big business needs to improve supply chain transparency to ensure workers are protected, with COVID-19 making the situation worse today than at any other time in human history.
