Today's adventure took us to Aguilar, a former coal mining town trying not to become a ghost town. (January 16, 2022) One of Southern Colorado's many coal mining towns, the Aguilar area was actually inhabited by Mexicans long before it's official establishment in the 1860's. Today Aguilar continues to grow, showing signs of returning to it's old self. *It's been pointed out that I pronounce Apishapa wrong throught the video.
