Movida Corona International DJ Contest - Heat 1 at The Gallery, Ministry of Sound

On Friday 21st September 2012, the first UK heat of the Movida Corona International DJ Contest 2012 took place at The Gallery, Ministry of Sound. With some of London¹s hottest up and coming DJ talent on display, the competition was fierce as the finalists took to the decks to showcase their spinning skills. And with Marco V, Lange and Ali Wilson smashing up The Box, it was definitely a night to remember. Congratulations to Dom Decyfa, the first of our six winners, who will go on to contest the UK final at Ministry of Sound on 16th October. The Movida Corona International DJ Contest provides new talent with the perfect platform to launch their career as an established international DJ. With local heats held across multiple countries, the DJ who rises to the the top will win a life-changing collection of prizes, including sets at some of the biggest clubs in the Europe as part of the Movida Corona 2013 Tour. For the UK leg of the competition, Movida Corona have teamed up with Ministry of Sound to find the best up-and-coming DJs who will win Ministry of Sound World Tour DJ dates, a DJ set at Ministry of Sound's world-famous London club, Pioneer DJ equipment AND a place in the final of the Movida Corona International DJ Contest in Stockholm.
