Quirin Hammer: HLA-E restricted peptides control natural killer cell responses

Quirin received his PhD from the Humboldt University Berlin and the German Rheumatism Research Center Berlin. His PhD work focused on host-pathogen interactions between natural killer (NK) cells and human cytomegalovirus. He is currently working at Karolinska Institute, in the lab of Karl-Johan Malmberg, where studies anti-virus responses of NK cells and aim to develop next-generation NK cell immunotherapies against leukemia.
