Project CARS finanziert sich über die eigene Plattform Wold of Mass Development (WMD Portal) aus Crowdfunding-Mitteln. Wer bis zum Stopp des Crowdfundings im Juni 2013 beteiligt hat, bekommt je nach gezahlter Summe Zugriff auf aktuelle Builds von Project CARS. Am 21.
