Up South : Angry Residents Protest Against Demolition Drive In Bengaluru

The BBMP demolition drive in Bengaluru resumes after it was put on hold over the weekend. Angry residents took to the streets blaming civic authorities and corrupt babus for their plight. More than a 150 houses are demolished .BBMP has come out with survey maps of areas demarcating the encroachment areas which they will be demolishing. However there is a controversy surrounding the map which has been referred to 1923.
