Michael receives a seaside vacation as a birthday present from the Foundation – but there's an ulterior motive from Devon. Frogmen have stolen Amy's latest invention, a hovercraft. Michael is supposed to help her find it. The action series revolves around ex-cop Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff), whose life is saved by a mysterious millionaire after a serious accident. Equipped with a new identity and a talking, high-tech supercar named "K.I.T.T.," Knight now fights evil and is called in whenever the regular police force can't reach him. This usually results in spectacular car chases and humorous interactions between Knight and his eccentric car.
