💜 Jin released a solo single titled The Astronaut in October 2022 just before he enlisted to the military duty. The song is a parting gift to his fans, underscoring his appreciation and promising his return. The song, co-written with Coldplay, serves as a heartfelt tribute to BTS fans (known as ARMY). Its music video portrays Jin as an extraterrestrial being who crash-lands on Earth, initially intent on returning to his home planet. However, he decides to stay, touched by the love and relationships he forms on Earth. This narrative reflects his bond with ARMY and BTS as his "found family"​. The track blends pop-rock balladry with emotive lyrics, underscored by Jin’s soothing voice, evoking themes of love and belonging. 💜 The Jin "Happy" Special Stage, held on November 16-17, 2024, took place at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The venue, which has a capacity of around 4,500 people, hosted fans for two performances. This exclusive showcase was organized to celebrate the release of Jin's new solo EP, Happy, and included live performances, behind-the-scenes stories, and engaging talk segments.
