Winter Kayak Fishing for Sheepshead and black drum in Charleston SC. Winter Time is a fantastic time to target sheepshead around the Charleston intercoastal and nearshore areas. We used dropper rigs and caught crabs. In all we were were able to catch about a dozen sheepshead and also black drum with some mix of reds and flounder.
