As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Facebook allows users to control who can share their posts. You can limit the ability to share your posts to only your friends or specific groups of people. Here's how you can adjust these settings: 1. **Open Facebook**: Log in to your Facebook account if you're not already logged in. 2. **Create a Post**: Start creating a new post by clicking on the "What's on your mind?" box at the top of your News Feed or your profile page. 3. **Compose Your Post**: Write your post, add photos or videos, or whatever content you want to share. 4. **Adjust Privacy Settings**: **For New Posts**: Before you post, you can customize the privacy settings by clicking the audience selector button (usually located near the bottom of the post box). This button looks like a small icon of Earth, two people, or another symbol depending on your current privacy settings. Click it, and you can choose who can see your post. **For Existing Posts**: If you want to change the privacy settings of an existing post, find the post on your timeline or in your News Feed, and click the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner of the post. Then, select "Edit Audience" or "Edit Privacy" and choose a new audience. 5. **Select an Audience**: In the privacy settings, you can choose from various options, including: **Public**: Anyone on or off Facebook can see it. **Friends**: Only your Facebook friends can see it. **Friends except...**: You can exclude specific friends from seeing it. **Specific Friends**: You can choose specific friends who can see it. **Only Me**: The post is private, visible only to you. Custom: You can create custom lists or select specific groups of people. 6. **Save Changes**: Once you've chosen your desired audience, click "Save Changes" or "Post" to publish the post with the new privacy settings. By limiting the audience of your posts, you can control who can see and share your content. Please note that people who are part of the selected audience can still share your posts unless you disable sharing for a specific post by following these additional steps: 1. Find the post you want to disable sharing for. 2. Click the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner of the post. 3. Select "Edit Audience" or "Edit Privacy." 4. Choose "Only Me" to make the post private, and then click "Save Changes." Keep in mind that Facebook's features and interface may have changed since my last knowledge update, so it's a good idea to double-check the platform's help resources or the app itself for the most current information on controlling post sharing and privacy settings.
