This video is the recording of the Industry and Science Workshop, sponsored by Hologic and presented at the Clinical Virology Symposium (CVS) 2022. Dr. Karen Harrington, PhD, HCLD (ABB) presented data from a research study performed by Dr. Soya Sam, PhD and Dr. Angie Caliendo, MD, PhD at Miriam Hospital/Brown University. The data demonstrated the Aptima® CMV Quant assay is sensitive and accurate in quantifying CMV in plasma on the Panther instrument system and clinical agreement and quantitation of CMV in plasma samples was comparable to the Abbott RealTime CMV assay.
