Notification Whereas, the General Administration Department vide No. GAD/Mtg/RB-IV/50/2020 Dated 22.06.2020, forwarded a requisition for 8575 Class-IV posts pertaining to various departments for recruitment, in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class IV (Special Recruitment) Rules,2020 notified vide S.O.184 of 04-06-2020 read with S.O 193 dated 17-06-2020 and other relevant rules governing the subject; and 2. Whereas, S.O. 184 of 2020 dated 04.06.2020 read with SRO 99 of 2008 dated 07.04.2008, envisages that the Minimum and Maximum qualification for appointment to Class-IV posts under Direct Recruitment shall be: “Minimum Matric and Maximum 10+2”; and 3. Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 dated 26.06.2020, advertised 8575 District/ Divisional / Union Territory Cadre Posts of Class –IV in Various Departments under provisions of the Jammu & Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020; and 4. Whereas, the aforesaid Advertisement Notification prescribed the terms and conditions for making appointment to these Class-IV posts which, inter- aforesaid written examination and asked the candidates to submit grievances, if any with regard to score awarded to them; and7. Whereas, in response to the aforesaid notification, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board received around 17,000 representations from aggrieved candidates wherein primarily the following issues were raised: i) some weightage in the laid down criteria, due to their failure to mention the same in the online application form; iii) some candidates sought change of reserved category for failure to indicate the same in the relevant entry of the online application form. 8. Whereas, in terms of Rule 5(5) of the Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020 read with amendment notified vide S.O. 193 dated: 17.06.2020, preferences were to be sought from the candidates in regard to allocation of cadres/departments in favour of the selected candidates and accordingly, the candidates vide Notice No. SSB/COE/PAA/2021/2986-94 dated: 25.03.2021 were called upon to furnish their preferences online from 26.03.2021 to 01.04.2021, No. SSB/COE/PAA/2021/3187-95 dated: 29.03.2021 and SSB/COE/PAA/2021/3394- 3401 dated 08.04.2021, which was extended upto 02.05.2021 vide Notice No. SSB/COE/PAA/2021/3586-94 dated 23.04.2021 ; and 9. Whereas, Rule 6(1) of the J: Now, therefore, in view of the above: i. Provisional Selection List-Cum-Allocation of Cadres for Class-IV posts advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2020, dated 26.06.2020, is hereby notified as Annexure-‘A’ to this notification. ii. 29 posts of Class-IV are reserved in pursuance of the orders passed by the Hon’ble CAT in O.A No. OA/2011/2021, titled Rohit Sharma & Others vs Services Selection Board. iii. The aforesaid Select List shall be subject to the outcome of any writ petition(s) /WP (C) pending in any court of competent jurisdiction. 29. it is further notified that:- a) If any candidate figuring in the aforesaid Provisional Selection List is found to be possessing higher than the prescribed qualification at any later stage, his/her candidature shall be cancelled abinitio without any further notice and he/she also shall be liable for prosecution in terms of the judgements passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. b) The Provisional Shortlist in respect of PWD candidates for Class- IV posts is under process and shall be notified shortly thereafter the Select List-Cum-Allocation of Cadres/Departments in respect of PWD candidates shall be notified #jkssbclassivfinallist #jkssbclassivfinalselectionlistout #jkssbclassivupdate
