Gang of Dragon was officially unveiled at The Game Awards 2025, confirming it as a brand-new action-adventure, story-driven experience set in a hyper-realistic version of Tokyo’s iconic Kabukicho district. The game is being developed by Nagoshi Studio, the newly formed team led by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the legendary creator and former director of the Yakuza franchise. The reveal trailer presents a dark, raw crime drama starring South Korean actor Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee) as Shin Ji-seong, a powerful figure within the criminal underworld. With its emphasis on brutal close-quarters combat and cinematic narrative, the game instantly drew comparisons to Nagoshi’s past work while promising a darker, more grounded tone. No official release window has been announced so far.
