Welcome to road biking in Boulder, Colorado! If you're looking for picturesque road rides that combine the charm of downtown Boulder with the stunning beauty of the Rocky Mountains on smooth paved roads with safe bike lanes throughout the ride, you're in for a treat. But you better be prepared to climb! 🚴♀️ BRAINARD LAKE (sample route: / strava ) On this ride we're taking on the massive and relentless 22 miles and 5,000 foot HC (uncategorizes) climb right from the center of town at 5,300 feet to the base of the snow-capped mountains in the Brainard Lake Recreation Area, where the air is thin and crisp at 10,300 feet, and right at the edge of the Indian Peaks Wilderness. 🚴♀️ FLAGSTAFF MOUNTAIN (sample route: / strava ) Another option closer to town is climbing the iconic Flagstaff Mountain, another classic in the area and a popular mid-week ride amongst local cyclists. Take on the full Super-Flagstaff climb for 5 miles and 2,000 feet of elevation gain, or the reduced version to the Flagstaff Amphitheater (3 miles and 1,000 feet of elevation gain). Both options offer excellent views of Boulder from above. No matter which ride you choose, safely enjoy the descend back to the center of Boulder and bask in your accomplishment! 👉 Visit https://www.fullcyclebikes.com/ for all your cycling & triathlon needs in Boulder, Colorado! 🎥 Produced by @roosmith6 .
