Connors warns that the symbiote is alive, dangerous, and that it chose Peter. When Connors tries to call Oscorp, Peter lashes out and leaves, insisting the suit makes him stronger. MJ calls, worried about the destruction Peter caused during the Lizard chase. He brushes it off, saying the suit is helping him. MJ decides to stay at May’s to finish her article. Peter returns to May’s exhausted and goes straight to sleep—still in the suit. But the symbiote takes over. Hunters surround the house. MJ finds Peter gone and sneaks out, upgrading her stun gun with a webshooter. Outside, a Hunter spots her—but Peter (controlled by the suit) saves her in a monstrous rage. MJ follows, realizing it’s not really Peter—it’s the symbiote. She texts Miles: “Hunters at May’s.” Miles arrives.
