Happy Chinese New Year 2026 Hong Kong is a city with a majority Chinese population, so it's no surprise that travelers find it a popular destination during Chinese New Year. Like today, travelers, my friends and I came here specifically for the fireworks display. On February 18, 2026, Hong Kong held a spectacular display to light up the night sky over Victoria Harbor. Tonight's stunning display was themed around horses, with the concept of "prosperity riding across Hong Kong." Every year, the Hong Kong government holds a vibrant Chinese New Year fireworks display to commemorate the start of the new year. The display lasts approximately 23 minutes, during which a total of 31,888 fireworks are launched into the air. Hong Kong is one of the busiest cities in Asia. This Special Administrative Region is an international financial center, business hub, and shopping and tourism destination. So, don't be surprised if travelers see Hong Kong become even more crowded during times like this. If you're planning to watch this fireworks show next year, you can watch it from Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Where are those, Mil? Both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon offer great vantage points for viewing the fireworks every year. But the best choices are Tsim Sha Tsui, Mid-Levels, Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Hung Hom. Avenue of Stars is hard to beat, as is Bauhinia Square and Central Ferry Piers. Hi... Let me introduce myself, my name is Mila, the owner of the one and only Jejak Mila channel. I created this channel to capture pieces of paradise, enjoy technological and modern developments, enjoy traveling, enjoy nature, explore hiking trails, capture moments that might never happen again, provide information that I hope will be useful for you, explore history, traditions, culture, tourist attractions, photography, videography, pursue hobbies, and share experiences with you. I come from Indonesia. I'm proud to have been born there. Indonesia's natural beauty is extraordinary, our cultures, ethnicities, religions, races, and blood types are different, but we are all brothers. I was born in the city of Gandrung, also known as the city of black magic, Banyuwangi. I'm sure my city's name is familiar to you, as Banyuwangi boasts the blue fire in the crater of Mount Ijen, Gandrung Sewu, the annual BEC (Banyuwangi Etno Carnival), and the red durian native to my city. There's certainly much more to come. If you're in East Java, be sure to stop by Banyuwangi. I'm Mila. Thank you for your support and encouragement to the Jejak Mila channel by subscribing, liking, and commenting. If you find it helpful, please share it with friends, family, partners, or on social media. Once again, thank you for your support...
