Mario Kart 8 is a kart racing game developed and published by Nintendo, and first released for the Wii U in 2014. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, an enhanced version for the Nintendo Switch, was released in April 2017, including all of the DLC from the original entry. In February 2022, Nintendo announced the "Booster Course Pass", a DLC season pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
