National Diabetes Cup 2015

The National Diabetes Cup 2015 took place on Saturday the 5th of September with thanks to our sponsors Medtronic and Bayer. Children living with type 1 diabetes came from all across Ireland to the Astroturf Park, Coolock. In between games they chatted with their new friends about everything from soccer to how they treat their hypos. Proud parents watched from the sidelines and also took the opportunity to mingle with other parents. It was a fantastic opportunity for type 1 families to come together and meet other families who live with type 1 diabetes. Families were also treated to a BBQ, DJ and a fun-zone for the siblings who were not playing. In the afternoon all participants were given a prize and went home with some very tired legs.
