"We don't have any security concerns, we think we are being watched in a first class manner that allows us to focus on the task ahead and that is playing in the World Cup," Arena said. Team captain Claudio Reyna told a news conference that he was still unable to confirm he would play in the first game against the Czech Republic following a hamstring strain. Arena added he thought the US team was still an outsider looking into the World's most famous game and that in order to be part of the elite club the team to achieve solid results in Germany. Expectations are higher than four years ago, partly because of the Americans' quarterfinal finish in 2002 and their Number 5 world ranking. Tired after a tough training camp and three exhibition games in six days, the Americans had three days off this week before leaving. They have their World Cup opener against the second-ranked Czech Republic on June 12 in Gelsenkirchen.
