As we all know ACO is a very CPU heavy title and for gamers with a Core i5 and GTX 970 or equivalent GPU, a consistent 60fps at 1080p is off the table even at lowest possible settings. So this rendering method was somewhat helpful - start off by selecting the 'High' preset, then select 50Hz as your display refresh rate instead of 60Hz, and then increase the resolution by up to 120% from native 1080p. This means the game will be effectively rendering at 2304x1296. On top of that, enable dynamic resolution scaling, this will adjust the resolution on-the-fly based on the GPU load to maintain frame-rate above 60fps. Apologies, the vid may look slightly choppy and that's due to the recording software (ShadowPlay) capturing the footage at 60fps while the game's running at 50fps. Please note that it's only the video that's choppy, the actual gameplay was much smoother and closer to the level of 60fps. I encourage you to run the game and set the refresh rate to 50Hz, enable Vsync and see it for yourself. Unfortunately, ShadowPlay does not have the option to record gameplay @50Hz refresh rate.
