As monsoons throng the country two days before the IMD’s predicted date, MIRROR NOW speaks to the Director General of the Indian Metrological Department, KJ Ramesh. Mr Ramesh said, "June 1 is the climatologically normal date of arrival of monsoon. It is a normal date of arrival and this does not have any relevance with the quantum of four months of monsoon that will be received by India.
