OSRS Sailing Guide: Level 1-99 (Easy & Fast)

Many guides were made pre update, I got the levels then made this guide so you can be sure this will work for you. I included the AFK/Fastest methods I used so you can copy. I also include how to beat the time caps with the basic boat of the barracuda trials: shark, swordfish and marlin trials at just level 30 for a MASSIVE xp surge! Written Guides for the 3 Quests in this video: Pandemonium Quest (Sailing Unlock: Talk to Will or Anne at the south docks of Port Sarim (Chat 1•1) to accept their shipwreck salvaging job. Navigate the helm to take control of the ship. Navigate south through the Bay of Sarim until you reach east of the Karamja Shipyard. Click the minimap or water to set your heading in that direction. Click to trim the sails when a gust of wind arises for a speed boost. Un-set the sails when Will says you have arrived. Deploy the salvag hook, after which you will be pushed overboard. Talk to 'Squawking' Steve Beanie at the Pandemonium Pub. Talk to Ribs just to the north to discuss the map. (Chat ~) Talk to 'Squawking' Steve Beanie again. (Chat 2•2) Head east to the docks and talk to Junior Jim to get a raft for the salvaged old cup. He will take you to the shipyard. If needed, take a hammer and saw from the crates just to the south. Board the gangplank to your raft and build a cargo hold in the facility hotspot. Disembark the gangplank and talk to Junior Jim again to return to the Pandemonium and receive a Captain's log. Board the gangplank to the north-east. Navigate north through Mudskipper Sound and the Bay of Sarim until you reach Port Sarim. Optionally use the buoy to dock your raft, then disembark the gangplank. Take cargo from the ledger table near the docks and board the gangplank again. Open the basic cargo hold to store the cargo. Navigate back to the docks at the Pandemonium. Open the basic cargo hold and withdraw the cargo. Disembark the gangplank and deposit the cargo at the ledger table. Talk to Junior Jim to let him know you delivered his cargo. Talk to Steve Beanie in the pub for an update. Prying Times Quest: Requirements: 30 Smithing, 12 Sailing Quest requirement: The Knight's Sword Items: Hammer Steel bar Redberry pie Captain's log Talk to Steve Beanie in the the Pandemonium Pub (Chat 3•1), with your Captain's log in your inventory Navigate to the Port Sarim dock. Take cargo from the ledger table. Board your vessel and deposit the crate into the cargo hold. Sail south to Pandemonium Dock your boat, withdraw the crate of pirate looty from the cargo hold, and disembark the vessel. Deposit the crate at the ledger table on the docks. Talk to 'Squawking' Steve Beanie. (Chat 3) Head south of the Port Sarim docks (with or without your vessel) and talk to Thurgo. (Chat 4•1) Fairy ring AIQ is closest to Thurgo; you can return to Pandemonium via Captain Tobias from Port Sarim (30 coins). Head back to Steve. (Chat 3) Sail to the north-western island of Pandemonium to find a floating sealed crate. Take the crowbar from your cargo hold and pry open the crate. Drink the bottle of fish bladder stout. (Chat 1) Defeat or escape from the drink troll that spawns on the boat. Sail south-east to return to Pandemonium. Bring your crowbar. Talk to Steve. (Chat 3) Open the sealed crate behind Steve. Current Fairs Quest: Requirements: 22 Sailing, 10 Fishing Items: Charcoal. Talk to Arhein on the Catherby docks. (Chat 2•1) Talk to Councillor Catherine in the council office in north-east Catherby. Fill in form cr-4p with any information, and remember what you chose. If you need charcoal, search the nearby cabinet. Talk to Councillor Catherine again. (Chat 1) Fish mayor Talk to Arhein again. (Chat 2) Talk to Harry at the fishing shop in east Catherby. (Chat 2•1) He will sell you the mayoral fishbowl and tiny net for 50 coins. Fish in the aquarium next to Harry to catch a mayorfish. Talk to Arhein again to receive his mayoral chain. (Chat 2) Talk to Councillor Catherine again and match the answers you gave earlier. Use form 7r4-5h on the Mayor of catherby. Return the form to Catherine. Talk to Arhein again to receive the current duck. (Chat 2) Board your boat to the south and sail east to find a small ripple in the water by the Obelisk of Water. When near the ripple, click on the current duck on your inventory to set it in the water. Follow the duck until you get to the shore and collect the duck. Talk to Arhein again.
