For Me, When I Forget (A Spoken Word)

As an Indonesian, my face isn't the face of Indonesia beauty standard. Any feature of my body already get bullied in every different phase of my life. I always got the confident since i was a kid, but i never really be true to my self until few years back. It was a hard journey to finally understand that being pretty is not the actual goal, i learned everything about woman empowerment from the books and the internet, no one really ever told me that being happy confident successful woman was a thing. After years fighting insecurities of my body, i finally found piece. This video is a reminder (a hug) for my self, if one day those thought has ever come back. This video is also a hug for you, those who are fighting insecurities, those who feel left out and forgotten. Remember my dear, we just have to remember to see our surrounding with the better perspective, that's the way to remember to love our self again.
