On the origin of magnetic fields in galaxies

This video follows the evolution of a Milky Way-like galaxy and its magnetic field. We use our new algorithm to separate the evolution of a strong primordial magnetic field and magnetic fields produced by magnetised stellar feedback. Using this new method, we study their co-evolution in a spiral galaxy.
