Tasmania has further tightened its border restrictions with New South Wales, due to the increasing COVID-19 risk in regional areas. Anyone who travels through the state by road or rail, even if only stopping for fuel, will be considered as having spent time in a high-risk level ONE area. This means all of Queensland will be considered low risk to Tasmania, with the exception of specific premises which have been outlined as exposure sites.
