S. Korea reports 1,020 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

국내 코로나 1,020 명 확진... 다시 1,000명대로 We begin with the COVID-19 situation here in South Korea... The country reported 1,020 new cases on Monday climbing back above the 1,000 mark. Of Monday's new cases, 985 were locally transmitted, and 35 were from overseas. There've been 19 more deaths, bringing the death toll to 981. Authorities have extended the current 2-point-5 level of social distancing in the capital area for two more weeks from today.
