677 - Airfix A08001 Avro Lancaster B.II in 1/72 scale

Unboxing and presentation of a Avro Lancaster B.II, by Airfix in 1:72 scale. This is a plastic kit that will require assembly and can be painted as desired. *-*-*-*-*-*-*- In the box, you will find a selection of grey and clear plastic sprues, decals, instructions and a painting guide. The first sprue contains the port fuselage side, the upper halves of the wings with bomb bay and wheel parts. Second sprue the starboard side fuselage, the lower wing halves, wheels and part of the main wing spar. Third sprue has the bomb bay doors, undercarriage assemblies, bomb cradles and various aerials. A sprue contains the turret and defensive armament assemblies, flaps and wheel well components. The final grey plastic sprue contains the bomb bay doors and parts for the Bristol Hercules engines. Rounding off the parts count is a clear sprue with cockpit, turret and bomb aimer transparencies. The decal sheet has markings for two examples, representing aircraft from 408 Goose squadron RCAF, and 514 squadron RAF.
