Rocketcam 1 is the first functional prototype for the cameras intended to fly on the Copenhagen Suborbitals HEAT 2X mission. It is made of a Raspberry Pi with a camera board, a UT-100C DVB-T modulator and a 20 dBm power booster for wireless transmission of the video in he 1.2 GHz amateur radio band. This test was conducted on May 31, 2014, and the camera was mounted on the HEAT 2X service tower looking down. The video was received 300 meter away using an RTL2832-based DVB-T receiver dongle.
