In my ongoing efforts to have a curated wardrobe, this past January I decided to challenge myself to wear ALL of my clothes that are in my closet and dresser (with a few exceptions covered in the video), within the span of 6 months (which gave me about 3 months of cold weather, 2 in between, 1 very hot). This would be a definitive way to make sure not only that everything in there still fits, but also that I still like it and feel good in it (aka: the Wear Test). Along the way I documented my other observations and feelings about the whole experience, including some unexpected findings.... This ended up being a really useful way for me to further curate my wardrobe in a way that fits with my actual lifestyle, and something I can see myself repeating to some degree or another (perhaps in slight variations) in the future. If you're new here, welcome! My name is Melody, and I make videos about customizing your wardrobe through sewing and thrifting, making costumes (whether that's Halloween, the Renfaire, or something in between), and generally just being a crafty woman who dabbles in many different mediums (eternally a renaissance woman/jack of all trades). You will also frequently find me frolicking in the woods or fretting over my vegetable & herb garden. Where else to find me: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/0utfit_repe...
