The players must run a full marathon for their final challenge. Season 7 winner Helen Phillips and runners-up Tara Costa and Mike Morelli return to offer their support during the race. Later, Bob and Jillian hold a final round of last-chance workouts before the weigh-in that determines the two finalists. Viewer votes determine who is selected as the third finalist to compete for the $250,000 prize in the finale.
