INGREDIENTS: urad dal -1 cup rice flour- 1/2 cup salt - to taste sesame seeds -1 tablespoon butter -2-3 tablespoon oil -as required curry leaves- 2 springs red chili powder - to taste Directions: Dry roast urad dal then grind to fine powder. Keep aside. In a bowl, add rice flour, salt (to taste), sesame seeds, grinded urad dal, butter and mix to the stiff dough by adding water in small quantities. Now make them to small dumpling and give gashes to it. Then deep fry them in hot oil till it is perfectly cooked. At last, even fry curry leaves in the same oil and serve this salted balls with curry leaves and sprinkle red chili powder. Delicious Uppu Seedai is now ready to serve.
