Excel: How to convert a number to text using the TEXT() function

If you have some data in Excel and it is in a number format you might want to convert it so that it is in a text format. This can happen if you import data such as a telephone number. If it has imported as a number it might drop digits such as the leading zero. You can fix this using the TEXT() function.
