Volleyball after Scoliosis Surgery in 2014

In 2014 Hayley had surgery in March for a Tethered Spinal Cord (Michael Levy M.D.) and in July for Scoliosis (Burt Yaszay M.D.) Both surgeries were performed at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA and Both equally were a success. By the end of the year, Hayley was back to Volleyball! We thought it would be encouraging for others, especially athletes to see her capabilities at 6mos post surgery. Thank you to the fine Doctors and medical team for taking good care of our daughter!! Thank you Coach Dennis Palpallatoc for taking Hayley under your wing and to her teammates who continue to inspire and motivate her. She wouldn't be this far without you all. xo
