The IMD has predicted extremely heavy rainfall activity over the north-east India and adjoining states for the next three days and extremely heavy rainfall over Meghalaya and heavy to very heavy rainfall over the sub-Himalayan region including Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur.
