Screen: Game Boy Color Device Play: Keyboard Hello, guys! Maybe this is an unique game that deserved to be notice in Advance series. Initially, I intended to play Color Restoration but its pitches aren't restored. Therefore, I play this one (maybe I know how to adjust the palette). I. Review: 1. Palette: This is one of three series that have bright palette. Even though I adjust them, they can't revert to SNES palette at all. For example (forgive me if I'm mistaken): Mario's overalls in SNES palette is azure, while GBA one is sapphire (just like Luigi). Toad's vest in GBA palette and Luigi's overalls in SNES are quite identical. Peach in GBA palette is entirely similar to SNES one. Background of castle in World 7-1, 7-2 in GBA palette is slightly darker than SNES one, unlike the other stages. 2. Restart: This is the only series that player can Try Again (player's lost lives'll be restored). 3. Music: Most of them are higher pitch, except the original tracks such as Before Boss, Jar,... 4. Both title and opening are intermingled into one ('cause Title Screen in NES/SNES only narrates the opening via text). II. Tricks: 1. Starman to counter Phantos (World 2-3). 2. POW to Birdo: It isn't able to kill 'em in a flash. III. Stage can knock out Birdo at once: World 1-2, World 2-1, World 4-2. 'cause the last cherry is near the next room :3 IV. Utility: There has many chance to find Hearts, unlike SNES version. V. Drawbacks: More enemies. This could be serious disadvantage in SNES version. We aren't able to count how many Cherries we find (this feature is fixed in ASA). This is all I know for this game. Hopefully you'll enjoy it!
