Draw with me | Pattern Exploration - Arch Motifs

If you're familiar with my drawings, you'll know I'm particularly fond of rounded arches. I like to fill large arches with tangle patterns, but smaller arches I like to use as tangle patterns themselves, similar to Crescent Moon. So, in this video I look at some ways of varying individual arch motifs, or fragments in Zentangle terms. But, before I get to that, I show you how I used gesso to prepare and add colour to this sketchbook page. It was my first time drawing on top of a gessoed surface, but I was really quite happy with how that worked. Fingers crossed, there'll be chapter notifications for the video so you can jump to the drawing part if you like :-) Thank you so much for joining me and subscribing. I appreciate you all so much. If you're new here and haven't subscribed, please consider doing so, it is absolutely free to do so! Thank you for the comments too, and the thumbs-ups.
