"Congo Bongo" (1983) was one of many Sega arcade games that made the transition to their brand new home console, the SG-1000. Hardware constraints made ditching the arcade version's isometric design necessary. What's left is a bare bones platformer that makes up for its lack of graphical sophistication with heaps of charm. I mean just look at the hippo on the second stage. That is one charming hippo!
