Testimony Begins In Abdool Trial
Testimony in the trial for Dane Abdool opened Thursday. The 21-year-old is charged with murder in the brutal slaying of his former girlfriend, who was found burned to death on the side of the road near Winter Garden nearly two years ago. If convicted, Abdool faces the possibility of the death penalty. Abdool does not deny being at the scene, in fact he told police that he taped up his 17-year-old girlfriend and poured gasoline on her. Be he says actually setting the fire was an accident.
