Sabudana Kheer Recipe Ingredients Quantity Sabudana (Sago) ½ cup Jaggery (grated) 150 g Rice flour 2 tbsp Cashew nuts 100 g Dry grapes (raisins) 100 g Coconut milk 2 cups Water ½ cup (as needed) Ghee 2 tsp Cardamom (Elaichi) powder ¼ tsp Salt To taste Method 1.Wash the sabudana thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain excess water and keep aside. 2.Heat a cooking pan on medium flame and add ghee. 3.Once the ghee is hot, add the cashew nuts and fry until light golden. Remove and set aside. 4.In the same pan, add the rice flour and roast on low flame for about 1 minute. 5.Gradually add water while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. 6.Once the mixture starts to boil lightly, add the soaked sabudana and mix well. 7.Cook for 1–2 minutes, then add coconut milk and stir continuously until the mixture thickens. 8.Add fried cashew nuts, dry grapes, and jaggery. Add a little water if required and mix well. 9.Add salt and continue stirring to prev ent the kheer from sticking to the pan. 10.Cook until the jaggery dissolves completely and the kheer reaches a creamy consistency. 11.Add cardamom powder, mix well, and switch off the flame. 12.Pour into a serving bowl, garnish with dry grapes, and serve warm.
