Dorothy Stoneman '63 Come listen to Stoneman, founder of Youthbuild, a program that provides jobs and hope to over 100,000 youth. Where others saw only the impossible, Stoneman saw the chance to make a difference. Targeting the most at risk young people, Youthbuild provides these youth with a chance to turn around their lives and also improve their community by providing them with an education, concrete skills, and employment opportunity. A youth and community development program, Youthbuild has over 270 programs in 45 states and continues to foster leadership and address core issues facing low-income communities.
