The Taliban has captured the city of Zaranj in Afghanistan’s Nimruz province on August 6. This is the first provincial capital in Afghanistan to fall since US began to pull out its troops in May. The takeover comes as Taliban attackers killed the head of the Afghan govt Media and Information Centre.
