Trumpeter Maurice Andre dies aged 78

http://www.euronews.net/ The world famous classical trumpeter Maurice Andre has died at the age of 78. A former coal miner, it was his father, himself an amateur musician, who encouraged him to take up the trumpet professionally. Andre went on to become a virtuoso of Baroque music and made more than 250 recordings before he retired in 2004 .
